A vessel attempting to exit the Strait of Hormuz was attacked on Tuesday, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations Centre (UKMTO). The UKMTO noted it received a report of a ship being hit with “an unknown projectile” as it was leaving the strait, a critical oil shipping channel.
