Exit code 137: was it really out of memory? Find who sent the SIGKILL

docker ps -a says Exited (137) or Restarting (137) , the app's logs stop mid-line with no error, and the box is a small 1–2 GB VPS running several services. It looks like "out of memory", and often it is. But 137 only tells you the main process received SIGKILL.
